|
Provide a comprehensive clinical service in assigned clinical areas. Monitor, supervise, co-ordinate and develop the clinical service within the Speech Therapy department, to ensure optimal and appropriate patient care. Render a support service to the head of the Speech Therapy Department. Assist with the administrative and human resource management of the Speech Therapy department. Identify needs and manage and participate in professional training and development of knowledge and skills in the department. Engage in student clinical supervision and related academic activities. |

Registration with the HPCSA as a Speech Therapist. |
|
|
Teaching and presentation skills. Human resource and supervisory experience. Good verbal and communication skills with a proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Current expertise in the management of dysphagia and communication disorders, appropriate for an academic, multi-disciplinary hospital setting. |

Remuneration:
|
R 466 119-R 517 326 Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
