Administration Clerk : Supply Chain Management

Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint, e-mail) Relevant knowledge, skills of processes, procedures, prescripts and legislative framework, PFMA, NTR and PTI and the Accounting Officer’s System of the Department of Health, including the Delegations of Power). Knowledge of SCOA codes and reports on LOGIS and BAS. Knowledge of ledger accounts. Good interpersonal and organisational skills.

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Receiving and capturing of invoices. LOGIS payments and compliance to prescripts. Effective and efficient support to Forensic Pathology Service Facilities and Forensic Pathology Service Head Office. BAS transactions and compliance to financial prescripts.
 
Experience:
Relevant working experience in LOGIS, FINANCE and BAS.
 
Requirements
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with relevant experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’s) of the post.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 173 703 per annum - R 204 612 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
