Senior Administrative Officer: Finance and SCM

Minimum educational qualification:
Appropriate 3-year National Diploma or Degree.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in Finance and Supply Chain Management. Appropriate experience in the procurement of Goods and Services, Warehouse Management and Asset Management in a health care environment. Appropriate supervisory experience.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Appropriate knowledge and practical experience in Supply Chain Management, Logis and BAS and Integrated Procurement Solutions (IPS). Organisational, managerial, leadership skills and an aptitude for working with financial figures. Appropriate knowledge of relevant financial prescripts, departmental policies, delegations and procedures. Strong people management and supervisory skills, ability to work in a team context and motivate team members. Computer literacy Microsoft Package. Knowledge of PFMA, Finance instructions, Provincial and National Treasury regulations, as well as Accounting Officer System. Good verbal and written communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.

Note:

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Responsible for the overall management for all Supply Chain Management functions. Ensure the effective and efficient application of procurement policies and process. Responsible for the Inventory control, Warehouse Management and Asset Management. Managing the clearance of Asset and Liabilities accounts. Timeous preparation of reports and assist with Annual and Interim Financial Statements. Ensure effective supervision are maintained. Efficient Creditor Management.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 316 791 - R 373 167 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer`s contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
