Good communication skills (verbal and written) in at least two of the three official languages of Western Cape. Appropriate experience in the Mechanical field, general mechanical repairs. Ability to work independently and under pressure, with good organisational skills. Ability to operate and use required tools and equipment skilfully and safely. |

Grade A: No experience required. Grade B: At least 18 years appropriate/recognisable experience in the area after obtaining the relevant Trade Test Certificate. Grade C: At least 34 years appropriate/recognisable experience in the area after obtaining the relevant Trade Test Certificate. |

The necessary administrative function and control of staff. Supervision and assistance with repairs and maintenance. Maintenance and repair of all vehicle assets under the supervision of the Chief Artisan. Assist with the execution of mechanical projects and control over tools and materials. Assist the Chief Artisan with reasonable adhoc duties. Supervision of handyman, Tradesman Aids and intern staff. |

Valid code 10 drivers’ licence with PrDP. Must be physically fit and able to carry heavy objects. |

Remuneration:
|
Grade A: R 190 653 - R 211 596 per annum, Grade B: R 224 574 - R 249 246 per annum, Grade C: R 262 176 - R 324 708 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer`s contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
