Emergency Care Officer Grade 1 and 3 (BAA/AEA)

Requirements:
Minimum educational qualifications:
• Grade 1: Successful completion of an appropriate Basic Life Support (BLS) course that allows registration with the HPCSA as Basic Ambulance Assistant (BAA).
• Grade 3: Successful completion of an appropriate Intermediate Life Support (ILS) course that allows registration with the HPCSA as Ambulance Emergency Assistant (AEA).
 
Experience:
None after registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a BAA or AEA.
 
Registration with a professional council:
Registration with the HPCSA as an BAA or AEA.
 
Inherent requirements of the job:
Valid Code C1 driver’s licence.
Valid C1 Professional driver’s permit.
Physical and mental fitness

Grade 1: R 143 613 per annum, Grade 3: R 169 176 per annum
