Minimum educational qualification: • General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/ grade 9 (Std 7).

Experience:
• Appropriate technical experience.

Inherent requirement of the job:
• Unemployed youth between ages 18-35 years old. • Live near the health facility as advertised (Proof of address to be provided).

Competencies (knowledge/skills):
• Good interpersonal and numerical skills. • Ability to work in a team environment and independently. • Good reading and writing skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
• Provide a support service to the technical staff. • Provide a clean hygiene and safe working environment. • Maintenance program according to allocated schedule. • Assist Artisan or Handyman with determination of materials and tools required. • Make all tools and materials available before commencing with work. • Validate that the job requisitions are signed off and handed back.
