Appropriate experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Sourcing and Asset Management. Appropriate experience in LOGIS, Integrated Procurement Solution (IPS) and procurement integration. |

Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel. LOGIS. IPS and procurement Integration). Knowledge of the Accounting Officer’s System and SCM Delegations of the department. Good communication skills (written and verbal) in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Ability to do physical work pertaining to Asset Counts. |

Perform tasks related to procurement administration, such as inviting of quotes on IPS, placing of orders, preparing quotes for Quotation Committee and follow-up with suppliers. Asset Management which includes proper management of assets pertaining to annual asset count, updating asset register, disposals, capturing of relevant documentation on LOGIS and keeping updated filing of all relevant documentation. Monthly reporting, reporting losses, theft, shortages and surplus. Ensure compliance to all relevant laws and prescripts related to the Supply Chain. Handle all telephonic and written queries from relevant suppliers and end users. |

Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject and/ or Senior Certificate (or Equivalent) with experience/ competencies that focus on the Key Performance Area (KRA’s) of the post. |
|
|
Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence. |
|
|

Remuneration:
|
R 173 703 - R 204 612 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
