Appropriate experience of Financial Management and BAS and LOGIS systems in a hospital environment. |

Good knowledge of BAS and LOGIS, as well as the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), National and Provincial Treasury Regulations, Accounting Officer’s System of the department of Health. Good knowledge of all financial management systems and regulations: BAS, LOGIS, Financial and treasury instructions, PFMA and BMI. Advanced computer literacy (i.e. MS Word and Excel). Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. |

Render payments on BAS and LOGIS. Responsible for Internal controls and compliance in Finance. Monitor, control and report expenditure and budget related issues. Responsible for Ledger Accounts, Personnel Debt and Loss Control. Compile reports, including IFS and AFS. Responsible for monthly reporting on 30 days reporting. Responsible for Human Resource Development and Supervision of personnel in Finance Department. Render support to supervisor. |

Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the key performance areas (KPA) of the post. |

Remuneration:
|
R 242 475 - R 285 630 Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
