A three-year diploma/degree or equivalent in Food Service or Hospitality Management. |

|
Appropriate experience in a Food Services or Hospitality environment. Appropriate supervisory experience. |

|
Computer literacy (MS Word and Excel). Ability to communicate at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Conversant with the Labour Relations Act, Food Services Policies and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Manage and empowering a very large staff team, drawing up and implementing training schedules. |

Operationally manage the food preparation, distribution and serving of meals in the Food Services Department. Responsible for hygiene and safety standards. Effective utilisation of the Food Service team including equipment and utensils. Ordering of food consumables and Vendor Contract Management. Enact Human Resource Management when required, inclusive of leave, disciplinary code of conduct, time keeping, filling of vacant posts in the Department etc. Manage financial resources inclusive of the food costing and weekly statistics. |

The Food Services Component renders a 7- day week function. The successful candidate will be required to work shifts and weekends. |

Remuneration:
|
R 257 508 - R 303 339 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
