Experience:
Appropriate personnel experience. Experience in PERSAL.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Computer literate (MS Office package, e-mail and internet). Good communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality, work independently and in a team.

Note:

Duties (key results areas/outputs):
Perform all administrative duties related to Personnel Administration. Provide advice regarding the application of HR policies and practices. Handle personnel queries and correspondence. Capture transactions on the PERSAL system. Process appointments, WCA’s, housing, pensions, leave allowances and deductions, SPMS and Recruitment and Selection. Act as personnel representative during recruitment and selection interviews.
 
Minimum educational qualification
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
 
Inherent requirement of the job
Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence. Willingness to travel to EMS Stations throughout the Province when required.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R163 563 - R 192 666 Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
