Administrative Officer: Information Management

Experience:
Appropriate relevant working experience in Information Management, Health Information Systems and end-user systems support.
 
Duties (key results areas/outputs):
Coordinate and manage all health statistics within the Sub-district. Responsible for good data management, as well as monitoring and evaluation in this regard. Responsible for the management and implementation of information systems. Ensure information management strategies is adhered to according to the compliance and prescripts of the department. Delivering of a supportive role with regard to data management and M&E of Health Information Systems on a Sub-district Level.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Good numerical, data analysis, presentation and training skills. Good working knowledge of Health Information Systems (Clinicom, Sinjani and BI). Experience in monitoring and evaluation of performance information, processes and systems. Advanced computer skills in Ms Office (i.e. Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.

Minimum educational qualification
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
 
Note:

Inherent requirement of the job
Willingness to work overtime and travel when required. Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 242 475 - R 285 630 Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
