Advanced computer literacy. Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines. Ability to produce and evaluate detailed policy documentation and to produce reports of a high standard. The ability to perform a detailed and critical analysis of the performance of the healthcare service and propose constructive interventions. Project management and research skills. Ability to travel to the districts and national office (DOH). Good written and communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. |

Appropriate 4 year Health related National Diploma/Degree or equivalent registrable with a South African Statutory Health Professions Council or South African Nursing Council. |
|
|
Extensive experience in the management and coordination of public health programmes. |
|
|
Facilitate and develop Policy, guidelines, protocols and tools necessary to guide prioritization and implementation of public health programme interventions. Development of Monitoring and Evaluation tools and mechanisms, including information systems. Manage people and financial resources provided for specific health programme(s). Ensure effective inter-sectoral collaboration. Participate as key member of the Service Priority Coordination Team as required to give effect to a health systems response. |

R 869 007 -R 1 023 645 per annum A portion of the package can be structured according to the individual's personal needs.
