Assistant Director: Finance (Patient Administration, Revenue and Information Management)

Requirement:
Appropriate 3-year National Diploma/Degree.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in Revenue Management, Patient Administration, Medical Records and Case management. Appropriate experience in Information Management, within the Clinicom environment. Management and supervisory experience.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Good verbal and written communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Knowledge of CLINICOM, UPFS, SINJANI, BAS. Knowledge of Hospital Fees Memorandum Chapter 18, PFMA and ICD10 coding. Ability to compile, interpret and analyse reports. Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Note:

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Overall management of Information Management. Monitor, control, analyse, interpret and report monthly statistics of departments. Overall management of Patient Administration. Overall management of Revenue generation and Patient Billing component. Case Management with UPFS auditing processes. Human Resource Management (including labour relations, leave management, performance management).
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) drivers licence.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 376 596 - R 443 601 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
