An appropriate tertiary qualification (NQF Level 7) in a Health/Social Science or related field as recognized by SAQA or 4-year degree in an appropriate management field with at least 5 years’ experience at a middle/senior managerial level. Appropriate experience and proven track record in all major aspects of management within the health care environment. |
|
|
Exercise leadership, oversight and accountability in respect of the provision of departmental services priorities coordination in support of departmental service delivery. Promotion of health lifestyle initiatives across multiple settings in both public and private organizations in the province. Coordinate the Directorate’s strategic planning process in a seamless and integrated manner in alignment with the departmental strategic processes. Establish and strategically direct the project office(s) to project manage departmental response to priorities response to priorities, risks, ad-hoc campaigns, the Conditional Grants, etc. Define and review on a continual basis the purpose, objective, priorities, activities and evaluate the performance of the Directorate. Active involvement in the development and management of the strategic and business plans for the Directorate. Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and prescripts. Overall responsibility for corporate governance, including all aspects of people management and development, Financial Management, Information Management and management of Support Services. |

Remuneration:

R 1 057 326 - R 1 245 495 per annum (A portion of the package can be structured according to the individual's personal needs) A portion of the package can be structured according to the individual's personal needs.
