Administrative Officer: Support Services

Experience:
Appropriate experience in Supply Chain and Finance Management, BAS, LOGIS and PERSAL. Appropriate experience/competencies that focus on Conditional Grants and Donor Funding.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Assist in the compilation of the Conditional Grant and Donor Funding Business Plans. Monitoring expenditure of funds according to the Business Plan/Budget lines. Effective use of the BMI and APL to monitor facilities budget and expenditure on a monthly basis. Exercise control over Sundry Payments on the Basic Accounting System (BAS). Implement and monitor appropriate internal financial control procedures within Donor Funding. Stake holder engagements Management of Petty Cash for the Chief Directorate. Expenditure Control and monthly, Interim and Financial year closure. Assists in compiling and co-ordinate Demand management and procurement planning Provide financial and technical support and compile automated reports. Effective management of Human resources in the component.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Computer literacy and experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point). Good co-ordination and problem solving skills. Good managerial skills. Effective communication, interpersonal, leadership and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines. Good written and communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.

Requirements
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
 
Inherent requirement of the job:

Remuneration:
R 257 508 - R 303 339 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
