Good interpersonal skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality and excellent communication skills (verbal, numeracy and written) in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and Outlook), attach proof or mentioned in CV. Sound theoretical and practical knowledge of policies regarding Financial-, Supply Chain-, and Warehouse and Asset Management, LOGIS system functions, PFMA, Treasury Directives and legislation pertaining to Supply Chain Management environment. Ability to effectively multi-task, function independently and under pressure in a physically demanding environment. |

Responsible for the procurement of all goods and services (as identified by the committee) via the correct processes, the receipt of good and services and the system functions related to procedures. Maintaining the asset register and ensure proper asset management. Conduct inventory and asset stocktakes and ad-hoc inspections. Responsible for capturing invoices and payments function. Assist with the disposal of redundant obsolete and unserviceable items (incl. assets) in accordance to existing prescripts and with monthly reconciliations. |

Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’s) of the post. |

|
Valid (Code B/EB) drivers licence. |

Remuneration:
|
R 173 703 - R 204 612 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
