Appropriate medical records experience in a state hospital. |

In-depth knowledge of the HIS Clinicom system, (Case Note Tracking Module). Knowledge of National/Provincial Archiving Act. Knowledge of archiving and medical records procedures. Knowledge of medical records registry. Good time management, communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. Ability to supervise staff, motivate people and lead team. Ability to plan and organise daily operational requirements. Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and care under pressure. Proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. |

|
Supervise and plan operational duties of Medical Records. Manage the retrieval and filing of Medical folders and case notes for Clinical/Admin areas and provide management with verifiable statistics. Manage the effective supervision of all disciplines of staff. Control time keeping of staff. Complete required HR functions. Manage the correct completion of Case Note Computer Transactions and Case Note Tracking System. |

Willingness to work irregular hours (i.e. shifts/weekends), when required. High ethical standards as incumbent will have access to confidential files. Ability to lift loads, be on your feet and concentrate for long periods. |

Remuneration:
|
R 257 508 - R 303 339 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
