Administration Clerk: Admissions (Fees Department: Patient Administration – Fees Registry (Filing Room)

Experience:
Appropriate experience in a Hospital Fees environment.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Computer literacy, Good communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to accept accountability, responsibility and to work independently. Ability to work under pressure and a strong sense of confidentiality. Knowledge of Hospital Fees Memorandum 18, UPFS, HIS Clinicom, Finance Instructions. Clinicom experience inpatients, outpatients and including Service Groups. Knowledge of filing system and de-archiving.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
In-patient and out-patient administration functions according to PGWC policies and procedures. Clinicom and other PGWC system computer duties. Various Registry and admin tasks or duties assigned by immediate supervisor. Responsible for all filing of Medical folders; buffs and reports. Responsible for effectively maintaining the filing systems used in the hospital.

Minimum educational qualification:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Willing to work shifts and Covering for colleagues in other areas.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 173 703 - R 204 612 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
