Good communication skills in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Conversant with the requirement of the Machinery and Occupational Health and Safety Act. It would be required of the officer to learn and comply with in-house systems and procedures. Ability to plan-ahead (pro-active). |

Grade A: No experience required. Grade B: At least 18 years appropriate/recognizable experience in the area after obtaining the relevant Trade Test Certificate. Grade C: At least 34 years appropriate/recognizable experience in the area after obtaining the relevant Trade Test Certificate. |

Responsible for the preservation of exterior and interior painting works of the building and premises. Responsible for the control over equipment, stock and other tools used within the workshop. Render assistance to Artisan Foreman with regard to all functions (including admin work) of the division. Give feedback to supervisor on technical and painting maintenance issues. Assist in supervising, training and development of staff. Perform standby duties when necessary. |

Remuneration:
|
Grade A: R 190 653 - R 211 596 per annum, Grade B: R 224 574 - R 249 246 per annum, Grade C: R 262 176 - R 324 708 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
