Ability to travel to the districts and national office (DOH). Good written and communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. |

Appropriate three-year National Diploma/Degree in the Health or Social or Management Sciences. |
|
|
Coordinate sectoral planning efforts for the Western Cape Provincial Strategic Plan (PSP) for HIV & AIDS and STIs and TB, while coordinating and maintaining partnerships across sectors providing HAST services. Develop policies, guidelines, protocols and tools necessary to guide resource forecasting, prioritization, implementation and monitoring of province-wide sectoral interventions. Ensure the compilation of monthly, quarterly, mid-term and annual review reports by all sectors in the Province, as well as conducting or regular situational analyses in respect of sectoral district profiles necessary for monitoring and periodic reviews of the National and Provincial Strategic Plans for HIV & AIDS and STIs and TB. Provide secretariat support services for the PAC & TB and Provincial Interdepartmental AIDS Committee for HAST. Manage people and finance resources provided for in the PAC & TB and functional Provincial Interdepartmental Committee for HAST, Secretariat Unit. Participate as key member of the Service Priority Project Team as required to give effect to a health systems response. |

Prior extensive exposure to Public Health Management and a high level of professional expertise and understanding of the health environment. |

Remuneration:

R 733 257 - R 863 748 per annum (A portion of the package can be structured according to the individual’s personal needs) A portion of the package can be structured according to the individual's personal needs.
