Administration Clerk: Supply Chain Management (E-Procurement Systems)

Experience:
Appropriate experience in Supply Chain Management systems procurement and practices or systems management/implementation, provide training on various systems to all institutions.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Computer Literacy particularly in Word and Excel. Data analysis and reporting. Appropriate knowledge of procurement systems and related database. High level of excellence in accurate data capturing and recording. Teamwork and project management. Excellent human relations abilities and telephone skills. The ability to work independently.

Note:
Only officials within the Provincial Government: Western Cape will be considered for this post.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Provide assistance and training on various e-procurement systems (ePS) to all institutions. Assist with registration Suppliers on both CSD and WCSEB. Assist suppliers with maintenance and updating their WCSEB and CSD profiles. Identify system challenges and assist users at the various institutions on all e-procurement systems. Assist with training sessions or visits to institutions on system challenges, best practices on the e-procurement systems. Assist with implementation of new systems within the supply chain environment. Keep systems manuals and Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) updated with any changes in the e-procurement systems. Willingness to travel and be out of office for long periods to implement new system at institution.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) of the post.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) drivers licence.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 173 703 - R 204 612 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
