Computer literacy (MS Excel and Word). Knowledge of LOGIS (Logistical Information System) (LOGIS Modules). Proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Sound theoretical and practical knowledge of Warehouse functions. Ability to work in a team and under pressure. |

Receive stock from suppliers and issuing of stock to end users. Close co-operation, communication and team work with SCM colleagues and hospital user Departments. Ensure accurate stock control. i.e. verify stock levels, maintain minimum & maximum levels. Update bin cards, stock counts, investigate and report inventory discrepancies. Capturing of LOGIS Issue vouchers, other LOGIS administration and the filing of source documents for audit purposes. Manage inventory effectively in terms of storage, safe keeping of items and expired stock. Maintain the 0-9 file and Mini Contract files to ensure regular follow-up of outstanding orders. Ensure correct and completed documentation is submitted to Finance to process payments effectively. |

Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’s) of the post. |

Remuneration:
|
R 173 703 - R 204 612 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
