Senior Administrative Officer: Supply Chain Management (Asset)

Experience:
Appropriate experience in asset and inventory management.
 
Requirements
Appropriate three-year National Diploma or Degree
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Knowledge of and exposure to the PFMA, Treasury Regulations and relevant Instructions. Good interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills, including numeracy and accuracy skills. Appropriate knowledge of Asset Management Systems and Processes. High level of computer literacy, including advanced application on Logis, JAC, MEDSAS, MS Excel.
 
Duties (key results areas/outputs):
Monitor Logis and Syspro asset registers. Monitor Logis, JAC and Syspro inventory registers. Ensure Bas or Logis recon corrections. Ensure asset and inventory register data integrity. Ensure completeness of pending transactions. Assist with policy and SOP development. System training. Support Institutions. Monthly system reporting.

Inherent requirement of the job
Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence. Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 299 709 - R 353 043 Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
