Competencies (knowledge/skills)
Language proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Computer literate (Windows, Excel, Clinicom or PHCIS).
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in admissions.
 
Requirements
Grade 12 / Senior Certificate plus competencies.
 
Duties (key results areas/outputs):
Manage admissions department and Helpdesk, including supervision of all administration clerks. Manage patient folder system, register patients on the Patient Administration System (PHCIS) and manage electronic appointment system. Manage duplicate reports. Responsible for handling patient telephonic enquiries. Collection and collation of data for monitoring and evaluation. Monitor and support clerks at peripheral facilities in Wellington.

Inherent requirement of the job
Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 242 475 - R 285 630 Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
