Assistant Director: Clinical Technology Grade 1 (Nephrology)

Experience:
A minimum of 3 years appropriate experience after registration with the HPCSA in the relevant profession.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Competent to work under pressure and manage emergency situations with confidence. Capable to manage a Clinical Technology production team. Ability to work with or without supervision and within a group from different clinical fields. Advanced computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Exess and Power Point. Capable of maintaining confidentiality.
 
Inherent Requirements of the Job:
After-hour’s service is compulsory.
 
Minimum Educational Qualification:
Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professions Council (HPCSA) as Clinical Technologist (Nephrology).
 
Duties (key results areas/outputs):
Liaise with hospital management. Research. Training. Stock and Quality Control. Maintenance of equipment. Troubleshooting of equipment. Human Resource Management. Equipment Resource Management. Optimal patient care. management of renal unit

Remuneration:
459 558 - 510 042 Monthly salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
