Administrative Officer: Supply Chain Management

Experience:
Appropriate experience in Supply Chain Management practices and systems with specific knowledge and exposure to the Transport environment.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills)
Computer literacy (MS Word and Excel). Ability to communicate effectively (written and spoken) in a least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. High level of excellence and accurate data capturing and recording. Excellent human relations ability and telephone skills.

Duties (key results areas/outputs):
Responsible for the maintenance and overall conditions of all health head office transport fleet. Proper administration of fleet in relation to vehicles bookings, licencing, servicing, traffic fines, misuse, accidents, damages, invoicing and payments. Fleet Reporting. Maintain the vehicle asset register for the head office. Assist the assistant director with transport task team functions. Assist the assistant director with tasks assigned. Provide assistant and support to all government motor transport users. Ensure complete and accurate registering of drivers details on the fleetman system. Supervision of staff.
 
Requirements
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’s) of the post.
 
Inherent requirement of the job
Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 242 475 - R 285 630 Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
