Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Computer literate (MS Office package, e-mail and internet. Ability to function under stressful environment and cope with heavy workload. Ability to function as a team player, with or without supervision. Ability to interpret and apply policies. Understand People Development functions.
 
Experience:
Appropriate People Development and Training experience.
 
Duties (key results areas/outputs):
Arrange People Development Training committee meetings and act as secretariat. Assist with the needs analysis, skills audit and compilation of the Workplace Skills Plan. Facilitate the procurement of training providers, coordination of training, information sessions and training logistics. Process nominations, confirmation letters, attendance registers and statistics. Assist with the implementation, administration and evaluation of Learnership, Internships and CET. Co-ordinate Public Training Institute courses, Public Service Induction and Induction / Orientation programmes.

Requirements:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
152862 - 180 063 Monthly salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
