Understanding of Employee Health and Wellness Framework for the Public Service. Research, conceptualisation and analytical skills. Creativity, self-motivation and assertiveness. Ability to function under pressure and handle a high work volume. Ability to prioritise and organise work and to exercise self-discipline. Ability to work independently without supervision. |

Provide input into policy development and facilitate the implementation of policy as per DPSA Employee Health and Wellness Strategic Framework. Administer Contract Management in the Health and Wellness Focus Areas. Implementation of disease management programme for employees including education on chronic diseases and behaviour change communication. Conduct research analysis to identify determinants of ill-health, injury on duty and occupational diseases. Implementation of mental health programmes for employees including education and awareness on stress management, coping and resilience. Provide technical support with regards to the development and review of strategies policies and operational plans. Conduct trend and statistical analysis to determine challenges, problem trends and best practices relating to health and productivity of employees. Assist with the development of monitoring and evaluation tools for the implementation of a M&E framework. Provide professional advice to management on issues impacting on Health & Safety and Employee Wellness. Administer and Implement projects and programmes that promote the Health and Wellness strategies within budgetary guidelines. |

Remuneration:

R 299 709 - R 353 043 Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
