Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Knowledge of all applicable health information systems utilised in the Western Cape. Computer literacy (i.e. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Good leadership abilities and presentation skills. Working knowledge of Clinicom, Sinjani, PHCIS and National and Provincial Indicators. Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Responsible for Sub-district data management in conjunction with the Sub-district Management Team as well as system implementation and system management. Responsible for the monitoring, evaluation and interpretation of Health Data on Sub-district level. Deliver a supportive role to the District Office with regards to monitoring and evaluation of health information systems on Sub-district level. Responsible for the management and development of Human Resources, as well as supervision in this regard. Ensure the effective usage of stock and resources. Assist with the development, interpretation and implementation of policies, practices and procedures. Develop, communicate and implement Strategy and Plans in conjunction with the Sub-district Management Team.
 
Requirements
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).

Inherent requirements:
Willingness to travel. Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R299 709-R353 043 Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
