Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa as Medical Specialist in Adult Cardiology. |

Grade 1: None after registration with the HPCSA as Medical Specialist in Cardiology. Grade 2: A minimum of 5 years’ appropriate experience as Medical Specialist after registration with the HPCSA (or recognised foreign Health Professional Council in respect of foreign qualified employees) as Medical Specialist in Cardiology. Grade 3: A minimum of 10 years’ appropriate experience as Medical Specialist after registration with the HPCSA (or recognised foreign Health Professional Council in respect of foreign qualified employee) as a Medical Specialist in Cardiology. |

Interest in Heart Failure and device therapy for heart failure. Previous research experience. Cardiology specific accredited courses attended. Planned PhD. |
|
|
Participate fully in all activities of the division, including overtime. Strengthening and expanding the current outreach program. Training of under- and post graduate students. Initiating research into cardiac disease in South Africa. |

Remuneration:
|
Grade 1: R 1 472 673 - R 1 561 734 per annum, Grade 2: R 1 680 780 - R 1 783 251 per annum, Grade 3: R 1 835 835 - R 2 097 327 per annum A portion of the package can be structured according to the individual's personal needs.
