General Worker Stores (Dental Supply Chain Management)

Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Ability to work in a team. Ability to pick up heavy boxes or bags. Willingness to assist with stock-taking.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in a store’s environment.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Basic literacy and numeracy.

Note:
No payments of any kind are required when applying for this post. Candidates will be subjected to a written/practical and oral assessment. The pool of applicants will be considered for other similar posts within the Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services, for a period of 3 months from date of advert.
 
Duties (Key result areas/outputs):
Timeous delivery of stock to departments, theatre, and clinics in a cost effective and safe manner. Assist clerks with the receipt, storage and issuing of stock. Assist with the moving of equipment (assets). Maintain the audit trail of deliveries. Clean stores on a regular basis. Any ad-hoc duties.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 131 265 per annum - R 154 626 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
