Seamstress

Experience:
Appropriate experience in the operating of an industrial sewing machine.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
General Education and Training Certificate (GETC) / Grade 9 (Std 7).
 
Duties (Key result areas/outputs):
Mending of torn/damaged hospital linen. To control supplies and raw materials. To control irreparable linen. Monitor the quality of the work. Inspect machinery to see if functioning correctly. To assist with linen stock counts.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Mending of torn/damaged hospital linen. Working knowledge of fabrics and fibres.

Remuneration:
R 155 148 per annum - R 182 757 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
