Appropriate experience in design, specification and maintenance of health infrastructure with a strong emphasis on maintenance, compliance and minor works. |
|
|
B-Tech or National Diploma or equivalent (T- or N- or S- Stream) in the Built Environment (Building, not electrical or mechanical) or an equivalent relevant qualification. |
|
|
Compile specifications, drawings and tender documentation within time limits. Liaise with clients with regard to information and work progress. Ensure continuity of service schedules, prioritizing work, and consideration of operational requirements. Ensure equipment and working areas are compliant with Occupational Health and Safety Act. Sound Contract and project management. |

|
Knowledge in the compilation of specifications and tender documentation. Compilation of Drawings for Tender, Construction purposes as well as submission to Council. Contracts and quality management skills. Competent with hands-on practical work, finding practical solutions. Computer literate (Auto CAD, MS Word and Excel). Knowledge and experience in IT, design of Built infrastructure in the health care environment. Registration with SACAP/SACQSP will be advantageous. |

Willing to work overtime, stay away and travel throughout the Western Cape Province, often at short notice. Willing to assist in other institutions and directorates. Willingness to travel within the borders of the Western Cape. Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence. |

Remuneration:
|
R 308 154 - R 362 994 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
