Good interpersonal relations, leadership and communication skills (verbal and written). Proven management competencies in a health environment. Appropriate experience of managing clinical services. |

|
Quality clinical, non-clinical and medico-legal patient care as required by the various programmes of the Department of Health and Wellness. Supervise-, Support -, transfer of knowledge to-, training- and mentoring of the clinical staff and auxiliary staff. Provide and efficient administration service regarding all clinical and non-clinical matters and medico-legal work. Provide guidance and leadership towards the realisation of strategic goals and objectives of the division. Ensure a cost efficient service at clinical level with regards to laboratory services, blood, medicine, consumables and equipment. Willingness to travel throughout the district. |

Registration with the HPSCA as a Medical Practitioner (independent practice). |

Valid driver’s licence (Code B/EB) and willingness to travel. |

Remuneration:
|
Grade 1: R 1 348 635 - R 1 494 765 per annum (Plus, a non-pensionable rural allowance of 22% of basic annual salary) A portion of the package can be structured according to the individual's personal needs.
