Note:
No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. Candidates will be subjected to a written/practical and oral assessment. The pool of applicants will be considered for similar vacant posts within the Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services for a period of 3 months from date of advert. As directed by the Department of Public Service and Administration, applicants must note that further checks will be conducted once they are shortlisted and that their appointment is subject to positive outcomes of these checks, which include security clearance, qualification verification, criminal records and previous employment.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Render a high standard of health education and support service to clients. Plan and implement health projects in facilities, schools, and communities to meet health objectives. Liaise with community’s health co-ordinating structures, departments, local government and other stakeholders to promote integrated approach to health care. An efficient support service to the Health Facility Manager with respect to the adaptation of broad departmental policy to conform to the health educational/promotional needs of patients and the surrounding community. Monitor, evaluate, develop and implement service delivery programmes. Ensure effective and efficient utilisation of all available resources. Ensure a purposeful integration of health education and promotion service provision with services provided (health facility, stakeholders and other community based services).
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid Code B/EB driver’s licence.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 183 279 - R 215 892 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
