Experience:
Appropriate experience in a communication, public relations or media environment, which include building and managing client and stakeholder relationships; developing visual communication products; media, reputation and response management; and developing and rolling out communication campaigns. Appropriate experience in the public service. Appropriate experience in Adobe InDesign, photography, and video editing.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Appropriate three-year National Diploma/Degree in Communication, Graphic Design, Journalism, or Public Relations.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs)
Conceptualisation and implementation of communication plans and campaigns. Reputation management. Internal communication and brand management. Project and event management. Stakeholder engagement support. Monitoring and evaluation of communication campaigns, risks, and sentiment.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Media liaison. Reputation management. Graphic design. Video creation and editing. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills.

Inherent requirement of the job:

Remuneration:
R 376 413-R 443 403 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
