Experience:
Appropriate experience in Finance, Supply Chain Management and Transport.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Knowledge of relevant legislation governing transport, finance and SCM. PFMA, National and Provincial Treasury Regulations and the Accounting Officer System for the Department of Health including delegations. Sound knowledge of transport and supply chain management processes. Good computer skills (MS Office, Excel and Power Point).
 
Duties (key results areas/outputs):
Manage the transport component of the NTSS. Asist with SCM and contract management functions relating to security matters and Monitoring & Evaluation. Ensure all functions are executed with the parameters of the governing legislation. Management of systems used to execute transport, finance and Supply Chain Management functions. Reports on transport and Supply Chain Management are submitted timeously on a regular basis. Supervision of staff, training of staff, and disciplinary matters.

Note:
No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. The pool of applicants will be considered for similar vacant posts within the Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services for a period of 3 months from date of advert. Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to a practical / written and oral assessment.
 
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting as passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’s) of the post.
 
Inherent requirements of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license. Willingness to work overtime.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 308 154 - R 362 994 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
