Minimum Educational Qualifications:
Basic numeracy and literacy.

Duties (key results areas/outputs):
Render a porter service in the different departments and ensure a safe and hygienic work environment as well as the cleaning of wheelchairs. Carry medical and other documentation (patient files, reports, specimens, staff official packages, etc) to wards/treatment and other admin areas. Accompany and assist patient patients from /towards I other departments /sections as well as to transport points. Accompany walking and non-walking patients per trolley or wheelchair in and out of theatre and treatment areas. Assist with the transporting of medical equipment between treatment areas. Assist with the handling of corpses.
 
Inherent requirements of the job:
Willingness to work shifts. Willingness to handle bodies (corpses). Ability to handle heavy objects.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 54 303 per annum
