Messenger

Inherent Requirements of the Job:
Able to lift heavy packages. Physically fit and able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
 
Experience:
Appropriate messenger experience.
 
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
 
Duties (key results areas/outputs):
Collection and distribution of mail documents and medical records on the VBH site. Collection and delivery duties of Pharmacy boxes, twice daily. Messenger duties to Head Office, Cape Town and Post Office, Sita and Regional Office, Bellville, twice a week or as requested. Ad hoc duties as and when required from your supervisor.

Note:
No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. Candidates will be subjected to a written/practical and oral assessment. The pool of applicants will be considered for other similar posts within the Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services, for a period of 3 months from date of advert.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Strong sense of confidentiality and trustworthiness. Knowledge of folder management procedures. Good interpersonal skills. Basic computer literacy skills.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 131 265- R 154 626 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
