Inherent requirements of the job:
Ability to work in a state mortuary environment. Basic knowledge of general hygiene practices. Ability to use a variety of cleaning equipment and products.
 
Experience:
Appropriate cleaning experience.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Basic Reading, Writing and Numerical skills.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Computer and software literacy. Appropriate general cleaning experience. Ability to communicate clearly and discreetly in person and in writing. Ability to achieve and maintain good interpersonal and working relations with staff and clients with knowledge of Batho Pele principles. Ability to interpret and apply policies. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to understand and work according to the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations: Act 85 of 1993.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Effectively perform a cleaning service of a routine nature in all Administration areas. Effectively perform a cleaning service of a routine nature in all Clinical areas. Effectively clean the vehicle fleet of the facility. Effectively support the Manager in establishing a safe environment.

Remuneration:
R 131 265 per annum - R 154 626 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
