Artisan Assistant: Refrigeration/Air Conditioning

Inherent requirements of the job:
A valid driver’s licence (Code B/EB) and willing to travel throughout the Western Cape.
 
Experience:
Appropriate/recognisable experience in refrigeration and Air Con and knowledge of repairs and installation of refrigeration and air-con components.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Be conversant with the requirements of the Machinery and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Grade 10 (or equivalent).

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Perform standby duties and emergency breakdowns. Perform necessary administrative functions. Control over tools and materials. Maintain and repairs of refrigeration and air-conditioning installations and equipment at the hospital. Assist the Artisans with their duties. Adherence to the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 183 279 - R 215 892 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
