Driver (Light Duty Vehicle)

Experience:
Appropriate experience in the transportation of personnel and goods in a Health Facility set up.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Basic literacy and numeracy.
 
Computer literacy MS Office. Electronic processing of operational statistics. Procurement experien
Good interpersonal skills. Take responsibility for your work, be accountable and the ability to independently. Knowledge of routine, maintenance, and inspections for defects on vehicles. Ability to read and comprehend traffic signs and road directions. Must do standby and work overtime after hours including weekends and public holidays. Physically fit and able to lift and load heavy items.

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Transport of good, packages, equipment, medicine and personnel. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report defects and ensure that routine maintenance is performed. Perform administrative duties pertaining to GG ( vehicles and ensure accurate and detailed completion of logbooks Effective support to supervisor and colleagues and perform ad-hoc duties when required. Effective maintenance of vehicles
 
Inherent requirements of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence. Valid Public Driving Permit (PDP).
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 131 265 per annum - R 154 626 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
