Developmental Youth (Intern: Support Services)

Minimum educational qualification:
Basic numeracy and literacy.
 
Requirements
Between the age of 18 – 35. Residing within the Western Cape (Garden Route)
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Good Communication skills.

Note:
No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. The pool of applicants will be considered for similar vacant posts within the Garden Route District for a period of 3 months from date of advert.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Transport of patients. Assist with loading of patients in/out of ambulances/vehicles, to and from, beds, trolleys or wheelchairs and vice versa. Responsible for cleaning of wheelchairs and trolleys. Assist with the transportation of corpses from wards to the mortuary and entering details in the mortuary register. Carry medical and other documentation (patient files, reports, etc) to wards/treatment and other admin areas.
 
Inherent requirements of the job:
Willingness to work shifts. Willingness to handle bodies (corpses). Ability to handle heavy objects
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 54 303 per annum
