Principal Linen Supervisor

Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Ability to achieve good interpersonal relations with staff and the service provider. Good numerical skills Knowledge and ability to interpret the Western Cape Hospital Linen Management Policy
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in Hospital Linen Bank and staff supervision.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Effective component supervision of Linen Supervisors. Effective communication and liaising with regarding operational aspects of the outsources laundering and linen management services. Monitor and assist with linen operational processes of the outsourced contractual obligations of the outsourced linen and laundry contractor. Effective quality linen control in terms of hospital end-users as supplied by the contractor. Perform relief duties within the hospital linen management setup and filing duties and Willingness to work overtime during weekends and Public Holidays.

Minimum educational qualification:
Senior certificate (grade 12 or equivalent)
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 216 417-R 254 928 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
