Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Ability to work with patients. Good interpersonal, communication and writing skills. Ability to function as part of a team. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Ability to work under pressure in stressful environments. Honest, patient, hardworking and reliable.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in the application and removal of Plater of Paris (POP)
 
Minimum educational qualification:
General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/ Grade 9 (Std 7)

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Render an effective support to medical and nursing staff in the orthopaedic clinic. Including, but not limited to, the application and removal of POP, splints and braces. Assist with effective workflow in the clinic. Effective and economical utilization of resources. Perform administrative tasks including record keeping, ordering and maintenance of stock level of consumables.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 183 279- R 215 892 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
