Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Excellent listening skills and telephone etiquette. Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook).
 
Minimum educational qualification:
General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/grade 9 (Std 7).
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Handle all incoming and outgoing calls as well as telephonic and emergency enquiries. Ensure effective and efficient communication, both internally and externally between staff, clientele, and the public. Monitor CCTV system. Responsible for fire alarms, medical gas alarms, elevator alarms, access control system and PA system. Ongoing updates of the telephone extension and client lists. Provide clerical and administrative support to the supervisor.

Inherent requirements of the job:
Willing to work shifts, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Willingness to perform overtime/standby duties when required.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 183 279- R 215 892 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
