Administration Clerk: Support (Generic)

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Admit, register patient on PHCIS and ensure availability of patient folders with patient centred approach. Registry documents, file patient folders, documents on a daily basis and handle all general administration duties. Keep record, retrieve patient folders, trace old folders, and compile new folders – manage general admin and record management. Support to supervisor and staff members. Assist with ordering on LOGIS system, monitoring, and stock control. Act responsible with regard to service ethics, norms, and standards. Responsible for handling of patient enquiries in an effective manner.
 
Experience:
Appropriate Administrative experience in a Health Facility.
 
Inherent requirements of the job:
Appropriate Experience in PHCIS. Valid driver’s license(manual) and willingness to travel.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Good verbal and written communication skills. Excellent filing and recordkeeping skills. Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team. Computer literacy.

Note:

Minimum educational qualification:
Senior certificate / Grade 12.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 216 417 per annum - R 254 928 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
