Professional Nurse Grade 1 to 3 (Nursing General) (Paediatric ward) (2 Posts)

Minimum educational qualification:
Basic R425 qualification (i.e. diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse (or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the SANC as Professional Nurse and Midwifery or Psychiatry (where applicable).
 
Experience: A minimum of 9 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration a
Grade 1: None. Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as Professional Nurse in General Nursing. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as Professional Nurse in General Nursing.
 
Computer literacy MS Office. Electronic processing of operational statistics. Procurement experien
Knowledge of Nursing Care processes and procedures Nursing Act. Problem solving, decision-making, good interpersonal skills. Report writing skills. Health promotion and team building.

Utilize human, material, and physical resources efficiently and effectively.
 
Registration with the Health Professions Council:
Registration with the SANC as Professional Nurse (General and Midwifery/Psychiatry).

Inherent requirements of the job:
Willingness to work shifts, night duty, public holidays and be on call. willingness to rotate to different wards according to operational requirements.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
Grade 1: R 307 473 - R 362 187 (PNA2) per annum, Grade 2: R 375 480 - R 442 296 (PNA3) per annum, Grade 3: R 451 533 - R 578 826 (PNA4) per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
