Duties (key results areas/outputs):
• Renders effective, efficient and safe hygiene and domestic services in and Hospital environment. • Contribute to effective management of domestic responsibilities. • Waste management. • Participates in linen management. • Contributes to effective utilization and functioning of apparatus and equipment. • Renders support services to Household Supervisor.
 
Experience:
Appropriate cleaning experience.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and the use of cleaning equipment (electronic and otherwise).
 
Minimum Requirement:
Basic literacy and numeracy.

Inherent requirements of the job:
Must be physically fit to lift heavy objects. Willingness to work shifts including night duty, overtime, weekends, public holidays as well as relief in other departments within the hospital.

Remuneration:
R 131 265- R 154 626 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
