Staff Nurse Grade 1 to 3

Duties (key result areas/ outputs):
Develop and implementation of basic patient care plans. Provide basic clinical care. Effective utilization of resources. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self- development. Participate in infection prevention and control.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Good communication skills (both written and verbal) Self- discipline and motivation
 
Experience:
Grade 1: None Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Staff Nurse with the SANC. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Staff Nurse with the SANC.

Note:
No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. The pool of applicants will be considered for other Staff Nurse posts within the Central Karoo District, for a period of 3 months from date of advert. Candidates will be subjected to a practical/written assessment.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse.
 
Registration with a professional council:
Registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse.
 
Inherent requirements of the job:
Willing to work shifts, day and night duty,overtime, public holidays and weekends. Willingness to assist at surrounding PHC clinics when needed.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
Grade 1: R 209 112 - R 237 441 per annum, Grade 2: R 248 613 - 283 347 per annum, Grade 3: R 290 805 - R 362 187 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
